Göbel Mirror for G670
For some applications, where mostly capillary samples are used for example, a Goebel mirror instead of the Johansson Monochromator is useful.The intensity using a capillary with a multilayer optics is inthe same range as when using a flat sample with a Johansson Monochromator where a much larger amount of power crystals is within the x-ray beam during measurement. In contrast to the Johansson monochromator Kalpa2 is not suppressed in this case. Also, in combination with the G670-360 and Ag radiation this is a very powerful optics.
