The standard Flat Specimen Holder 670.1 can be replaced with this multiple sample positioner. There is a wheel containing 6 positions to be filled with different powders. A second wheel is included in the delivery for refill during the measurement of the first one. A step motor driver moves the samples and provides the continuous oscillation, quite similar to the standard sample holder running at a frequency around 1 Hz.
The wheels are easily interchangeable within 0.01mm accuracy, thus minimizing any sample displacement error.
The electronic hardware fits into the standard 670 Controller. All possible motions for positioning are controlled by the standard G670 program.
